If you were a local in your hometown, what would you do/where would you go? Please list your favorite hangouts or restaurants.
I usually hang out in UP to see greenery, and to run. Coffee and cake is good in Chocolate Kiss and tapsilog is a must in Rodic's (both inside the campus). I also discovered this quaint little garden restaurant recently, tucked away in Marikina, near the shoe museum. It's called "Rustic Mornings" and they serve great breakfast fare and yummy fruit shakes. It has a Tagaytay vibe to it. But you're really just 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Cubao.

What is your favorite travel spot?
I've been to Sagada 6 or 7 times. The longest I stayed is 17 days, alone. Tibiao, Antique also is a recent revelation. You can do white water rafting there and practically too few tourists. If abroad, Japan is my favorite!
What are the 3 things you always bring when you travel?

If I'm going to a particularly beautiful place, i don't mind lugging around my DSLR. If it's just the usual outing, my trusty iphone takes decent enough photos. I also bring my sketchbook/journal in case the place inspires me to write or draw something. I also bring a water jug to keep from buying single-serve bottled water. Tourists can sometimes generate too much trash.
